I've been interested in dinosaurs my whole life. It's become more than just a hobby. Some of my favorite vacations consist of visiting digs, helping participate in the extraction of fossils, attending lectures by renowned paleontologists, volunteering at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, and buying fossil replicas to use in my volunteer activities and to decorate our home.
I was named Volunteer of the Year by the Science Museum in 2002...a real honor and a great surprise.
Visit the links to see photos of some of my treks...including the best one of all when I discovered a real dinosaur in the Judith River formation in Montana in 2002.
This sculpture is located in South Dakota, on the north side of Highway 90, between Murdo and Okaton (before 1880 Town). The owner of 1880 Town designed it and it's on his private land. You can see it very clearly as you drive by...watch for it. It's a human skeleton leading a dino skeleton.
Bob passed away on Feb. 9, 2016, after battling both ALS and Alzheimer's for 5 years. His wife, Reggie, will maintain this site in his memory.
